Hôm nay Rimbaud xin giới thiệu đến các bạn 1 vài bài hát dành cho Gay nổi tiếng. Thật ra không phải tất cả đều viết riêng cho giới Gay và Les chúng ta, nhưng đôi khi được trình bày bởi nghệ sĩ Gay hay đơn giản vì lời ca và giai điệu gần gũi với Gay và Les mà những bài này rất được yêu thích trong các dịp lễ hội hay các sàn nhảy dành cho Gay và Les.
Đầu tiên phải kể đến Village People với bài hát YMCA. Lời bài hát "ca ngợi" công dụng của Hội Những Người Công Giáo Trẻ (Young Men's Christian Association - YMCA) với "những chàng trai trẻ" gồm cả nghĩa đen và nghĩa bóng về những hoạt động của YMCA trong thập niên '70. Rất nhiều thính giả không cảm nhận được nghĩa bóng mà chỉ nghĩ đơn giản là 1 bài nhạc tán dương:

Nhà sản xuất Henri Belolo (là straight) kể lại rằng anh thấy tấm bảng YMCA lúc đang đi cùng với nhạc sĩ Jacques Morali (là Gay). Morali nói với Henri rằng: "Henri, để tui kể ông nghe cái này. Đây là nơi mà nhiều người đến khi họ vào trung tâm. Và họ tìm bạn rùi vui vẻ với nhau" Henri nảy ra sáng kiến "Sao tui với ông hổng viết nhạc về Hội này nhỉ??". Thế là bài hát ra đời!!
